Our Tutor, Lindiwe, started to work with 2 boys in our family, my son and my nephew, around August 2024. I must say that I am very pleased with her because the boys have improved. Their school levels have increased. Iva’s handwriting use to be very bad but it has also improved. Our tutor is the best. Thank you, Lindiwe.

My child struggled with reading big time before attending classes with Lindiwe in 2023 & 2024.

I noticed that he could not differentiate between the alphabet letters b, d & g and could not pronounce alphabet letters in English, but only in Isixhosa. That alone made him struggle to read English. After attending a few lessons with Lindiwe his reading fluency and confidence improved impressively. The teachers have seen his improvement and improvement in his school marks and they are happy with it.

Attending lessons with Lindiwe made my child’s confidence grow and have a positive attitude towards his school work. It made him eager to do his homework and reading without being pushed. He enjoys attending lessons with Lindiwe since he regards her as a very good teacher who is patient and makes him understand everything she teaches with ease. He is comfortable with her.

Lindiwe Nhase has been a co-worker of mine for a few years now. We have been teaching collaboratively with children who, for various reasons (age and background circumstances), are unable to go into mainstream schooling and who have cognitive and behavioral barriers to learning.

She has been an absolute joy to work with. From day one she showed an amazing capacity for love and caring – even when the work was extremely challenging. She showed resilience and staying power. This unconditional love and consistency was exactly what these children needed while being taught. She has a heart for teaching – especially for those who are struggling and have a lack of confidence.

As a remedial reading therapist, she would be an asset to any school or educational environment because of the knowledge, passion and professionalism she brings to the job. I have no doubt that any child that is taught by her in a remedial capacity will be blessed tenfold by the experience.

I am the mother of 3 special needs children who all struggled with basics like learning to read and other literacy skills. In Feb 2022 Lindiwe joined our home in the capacity as a tutor to my two eldest sons. Despite the immense challenges this environment posed she succeed in establishing a structured routine and a loving and caring environment, enabling the boys to thrive whilst achieving their academic goals with excellent results. It must be said that the ability to enable a child to enjoy learning is a special gift and one that Lindiwe possess.

My family has grown to love her deeply and have the utmost respect for her. I am indebted to her for the many times she went out of her way to assist us at great personal expense.

Lindiwe loves learning, is highly driven and able to adapt to changing circumstances very well. But coupled with these characteristics is a kind gentle hearted woman full of compassion and empathy. She stood by us and helped us as a family through one of the darkest and most painful experiences in our lives. Her wisdom, prayers and steadying presence helped the children to keep on going when all they really wanted to do was fall apart. For this I will be eternally grateful.

I have no doubt that Lindiwe has the capacity to have a great impact on any child’s life both as a mentor and a teacher, as she enables them to achieve their personal goals. Her services come highly recommended.
